The pitch curators find it extremely tough to maintain a good placid track throughout the year. But no doubt, they are doing a very good job out there in the center in spite of the daily wear and tear. But what makes it tough for the pitch curators is when there is a heavy downpour of rain. When the teams arrived in India every one had a notion that the pitches were very much of the batsmen friendly type, very much sorry for the teams that collapsed for meager totals. The pitches selected for the venue include Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Mohali and Jaipur and all belonging to northern and central parts of the country. And not one in twenty realised the dew factor would come into action. Seriously, what’s worse is that it would become really tough for the teams fielding second and creating all problems to grip the ball. The last ODI I saw, the Kiwi-Lanka encounter, the curators or the people responsible for maintaining the pitch applied PVA(Poly-Vinyl Acetate) on it so that the pitch holds good for both the innings and does not become worse as the match progresses. So does this formula work out for Test cricket also or will ICC allow these? Let’s wait and watch what happens.

The dependable Indian pitches
March 30, 2008Schumi’s hopes left in tatters at Suzuka
March 28, 2008Inspite of taking pole positions 1 and 2 by Ferrarai drivers Felipe Massa and Micheal Schumacher at the Japenese Grand Prix at Suzuka, Japan they have failed to impress yet again and this has paved way for Renault’s Fernando Alonso to have his second successive Formula1 title. The 25-year-old Spaniard cruised to victory after his Ferrari rival, leading the penultimate race of an extraordinary career, slowed and pulled over with a blown engine 16 laps from the end.
Alonso will now head for Brazil, and the Interlagos circuit where he won his first title last year, with a 10-point advantage. Both men have seven wins each, meaning that the only way that Schumacher can walk away from Formula One with a record eighth title is by winning at Interlagos while Alonso fails to score a point.

Now the constructors championship table says Alonso leads, followed by Schumacher, Massa, Fisichella… From the team points Ferrari are lagging behind Renault by 9 points.itz a must win situation for Schumi in Brazil and not a single point for the asshole Alonso. Guess all that happens!
And we can only wonder what excitements await us at Interlagos.
Hopefully, we will see a great sporting event so that we can cheer Michael into retirement.
It is probably better than cheering his misfortune.

360 one of the featured services of yahoo happens to be the worst online journal or online sharing or whatever you call it! I kept wondering what these blogs were, when I heard it for the first time so I was very much desperate to create one. I had no idea of these online journals and what this blogging was all about.my only intention was to become a member of any of these journals!having that in my mind i opted for yahoo 360 and started posting my entries in the blog. Everyone kept complaining and a rumour that, your password will be hacked created panic. Still there are reasons why I hate 360 ! One is, I found that anyone outside 360 could not post a comment, you got to have an account ,only then you can leave a comment! Note that not more than one photo can be uploaded in 360!!this is really a thumbs down to yahoo 360. On the whole it seems really complicated!
And this is actually the continuation of http://360.yahoo.com/sarin_g30.
I’m just getting started!
Edit: When I found 360 to be a little bit complicated, I switched to Blogspot. Now after Blogspot I’ve switched to WordPress. It’s nice to switch from one to the other. I feel a lot better now.
